The blades were super easy to replace. You just pull the old blades off and push these new blades on the mounting bracket. They are exact replacements. You can immediately tell the difference in the way it feels while shaving. No more pulling on longer beard hairs. When shaving a 4 or 5 day beard growth, the blades cut through effortlessly. As with all electric shavers, you still have to rub your other hand against the "grain" of growth to prop the hairs up as your shaving to get the shave to be as close as possible. Of course, if I'm just going for a quick shave, I just aggressively shave up and down and that works great too. Depending on the time you have available, the shave can be quick or slow, but these blades handle it all.
